Beyond Form marks the culmination of an intensive three-year exploration in art making, where the boundaries between human and natural forms dissolve into expressive gestures and subtle evolving configurations. This exhibition invites viewers to embrace passion and perception through a dynamic exchange of implied and abstracted forms—suggesting rather than defining. The paintings on display are not fixed; they are born of mark-making, impulse, and the continual search for connection and meaning.
Beyond Form reflects the passage of time—where each stroke, curve, and shift in composition embodies a moment of disclosure. These works explore the tension between the seen and the unseen, the finite and the infinite. What emerges from the canvas is not a rigid form but an impression, a substance that speaks to the fluidity and transformation ingrained in both human nature and the world around us. This exhibition captures the unpredictability of life and the ever-shifting terrains that define both physical and emotional landscapes.

I am drawn to the tension between deconstruction and reconstruction, a dynamic process that mirrors the interaction of natural and human forces in the world around us. My work embraces a zealous and gestural style, where spontaneity meets calculated application where each brushstroke serves as both an expressive mark and a deliberate response, creating a dialogue between figuration and abstraction. My paintings hold a space that blurs the lines between fragment and whole. Works like The Mending II and A Grasp and a Gaze exemplify my fascination with layered textures and reworked surfaces, while large-scale compositions such as Passage immerse the viewer in a dense and intricate landscape of intertwining lines and activity. Through phases of breakdown and buildup, I seek to capture the perpetual evolution of life—its chaos, its rhythm, and its beauty. Inspired by both human emotion and variables of the cosmos, I aim to create pieces that resonate with the viewer on an instinctual level, inviting them to explore their own narratives within the interplay of texture, color, and form.
