Cary Leibowitz and Simon Lince invite you all to LINCEOWITZ, their “eccentric” home recently featured in the NY Times (click to view), to raise funds for TSL’s conversion to solar energy. By going 100% solar, TSL will save as much as $250,000 over the next 25 years, guaranteeing a sustainable stream of arthouse films, live theater, global broadcasts, and community outreach well into the future.
Join the TSL staff, friends, and family for house tours, tea, refreshments, prosecco, and live music.
Contributions to the event by Verdigris Tea, Talbott & Arding, Chatham Flowers, and Cantele Tent Rentals
Music sponsored by Das Lied von der Erde Concert @ Presbyterian Church in Hudson, NY on Nov. 16th.
LINCEOWITZ is located in Hudson, NY. Address and directions provided with ticket purchase. Ample parking.

Cary and Simon’s original house was built in 1795 – a modest farmhouse that evolved over the centuries. The first addition was a federal style, center-hall building, designed and constructed in the early 19th century. In 2003, Cary and Simon wrote to Robert Venturi and Denise Scott-Brown hoping they would agree to work with them on a project upstate. By 2007 construction started, and by 2009 the Chinoiserie façade was going up. The room behind the façade has neon arches, commercial vinyl flooring laid out in an Italian renaissance pattern, and a plexiglas 9 foot high fireplace mantel. The room is filled with Venturi Scott Brown furniture and a spinning Jonathan Borofsky painting from the early 1980’s. George Washington, Grandma Moses, President Barack Obama, and Carol Channing are some other historical figures that help create the home. LINCEOWITZ has been featured in The World of Interiors, The New York Times, T magazine, and Upstate Diary. Join us for this one-time opportunity to tour this unique home and enjoy some lively hospitality.
