TSL since closing our doors to the public on (March 17th, 2020)-
we have not been able to show movies in our two screening rooms
here at TSL.
Many are sad to see that we have closed our spaces to the public.
This decision to close is not ours alone—the Governor of the State
of New York has mandated the closing of all movie theaters in the
state of New York.
We are now screening movies in our parking
lot out side—it is only one or two times a week but it is a means
of gathering outside at a safe distance to share a movie experience.
I remind my readers that this pandemic has put great stress on
places like Time & Space Limited who have a long history of
presenting movies and high definition broadcasts such as the
Met Opera, National Theater of London, Bolshoi & a host of
rarely seen Independent movies. Our income has been
reduced to zero. The Covid-19 not only affects us but touches
the lives of all the distributors, movie makers, crews, writers,
directors, and the people like us who serve you these
delicious treats from the minds and talents of so many who
are the canaries of the cultural mines. These amazing
performers, singers, dancers, designers reflect who
we are in this time & space ————
without their voices, images, we are missing so
It is important to preserve a space like Time & Space
Limited—WHY?— because it is a space that is committed to
surviving this nightmare that will not doubt linger not only
for now but well into the future. There is only ONE TSL.
We are ready to re-open all of our spaces but right not it is not
We have for the time being converted our shows (movies &
performances of music, and theater)——to the out of doors
—and the cafe area is now a huge gallery space where
we can show art—BUT the movie spaces are
We encourage you to contribute to TSL at this
time it is more important than ever to keep hope alive
