What does the Constitution actually say? Before it’s rewritten, before it’s wrapped in flags and twisted beyond recognition—come hear it spoken aloud.
We’ll read the entire document together, article by article, amendment by amendment. No expertise required. Just bodies, voices, and the text itself.
This is the launch of a year-long series on resistance: books, ideas, and strategies for artists, writers, and activists navigating fascism in America. We’ll meet monthly through 2026 to read and discuss work that helps us think clearly and fight back—from Václav Havel to Sarah Schulman, from climate militancy to queer survival, from surveillance capitalism to how movements actually win.
But first: the Constitution. The document that’s supposed to protect us. The one being shredded in real time. The reading takes about 45 minutes. Discussion follows. All welcome.
