The gallery opens this Saturday. There will be performances as well to accompany the installation by Mussmann on her meditation of Melville, Moby Dick, & OIL. This is about seeing light as well as the desire/obsession for OIL. Revenge is part of the plot as well as loss and grief. It is Linda’s obsession and view of the world and how things fit together. Lots to see and hear in the space at TSL. Looking forward to sharing the event. Performers will be: Claudia Bruce, Ryder Cooley, Iffy Cobbins, Sleep, & Maria Boxill and Linda plans on a surprise for you all. okay join me.

We have MET SUMMER OPERA Tickets on sale now—and This American Life will screen May 10.  One more time La Traviata this Sunday and movies round the clock  THE FAIRY a comedy and THE BATTLE OF ALGIERS the classic 1966 movie (if you have never seen this—don’t miss out)

And in the Gallery Linda Mussmann will be opening a new installation on M….M…M…OIL a rethinking of Mellville Moby Dick And the love of OIL ~~~~OIL and Yes Light.  Yes we need to see but how much do we want to see???? is the next question.

Applications are now open for summer internships at TSL.  We have theater projects and young kids projects and all kinds of things for summer interns to have a look at what we do here in this land of making art round the clock.

Starts this Thursday. WOW this Simone de Beauvoir is one articulate woman.  Don’t miss out on this screening.

It is just released and to be seen on the BIG TSL SCREEN.   The great voice of the woman who wrote the 2nd SEX and helped Sartre become a great philosopher.  If no Simone there would not have been a Sartre.  Simone a lover of women brings an intelligent voice to the screen.  A voice that sounds as fresh today as it did in the last century –one interview is 1959 & the other 1975.

This woman’s voice could not come at a better time—the war on women rages here in America.  Simone come on home and tell it like it is. See you at TSL where the truth is never in short supply.
