Visiting Poets & Artists Alixa Garcia and Naima Penniman run a 2 week workshop at TSL culminating in a fashion show. Students model their own t-shirts created through photo emulsion and textile printing. The course develops students’ text and image design skills, incorporating both visual and verbal poetics to produce two-sided shirts printed with each students’ personal broadcast of word and images.
